1991 : La Maison de la Chine, founded by Patricia Tartour. The place does not look like an agency, it is a refined tea house where one comes to taste the journey. 1991-2016 : The China House functioned as a true laboratory of ideas. Driven by the ambition to transpose the model to other countries, Patricia Tartour enriched her team through wonderful professional encounters. The House of Indochina (1992), the House of Orientalists (1994), the House of India and the House of Latin America (1996), the House of the United States (2001), Desire for Japan (2006), the House of Africa (2006), the House of Oceania (2010), and Desire for Eastern Europe (2011) were born.
2016 : the eight “Houses” built over time come together under the leadership of Arthur Courtinat, Executive Director, to become Les Maisons du Voyage. So many windows open on each continent, with teams dedicated to each destination, which always meet the same requirement: to offer the traveler the right alchemy between leisure and reflection, glamour and discovery.
